Sira Test & Certification is to support Hazex, the new specialist hazardous area event being run as part of easyFairs Maintec 2012 Show.
 Sira – which has been at the forefront of hazardous area equipment testing and training for over 25 years, and is the UK's leading Notified Body for Ex product certification – brings additional credibility and value to the event.
In addition to promoting its services, Sira will run a 'learnShops' seminar at the show, aimed at demystifying the IECEx certification of personnel competence scheme.
As the first organisation to issue a IECEx personnel competence certificate, Sira is an acknowledged expert in this scheme, which provides companies with independent proof that an engineer has the knowledge and skills necessary to implement the international Ex Standards.
"We see this as a golden opportunity for us to explain our range of services to engineers, contractors, industrial clients and the many supply organisations we can help," comments Adam Garner, marketing coordinator at Sira.
Maintec 2012 takes place from Tuesday 28 February to Thursday 1 March 2012 at the NEC, Birmingham.
