Adrian Lee, formerly UK and Europe managing director of air handling specialist Gast Group, has launched Absolute Air & Gas, specialising in compressed air and gas systems.
 Lee, who has more than 30 years in the industry, was responsible for establishing Jun-Air in the UK in 1995 and developing it to the point of its acquisition by Gast Manufacturing in 2007, and taking on the European role.
The new firm, he says, will be about bringing innovative companies, and "new and exciting products" to the UK.
"They have the potential to set new standards in performance, quality and reliability, and we intend to match them with our standards of customer service," explains Lee.
Absolute Air & Gas has already signed several exclusive UK and Ireland partnering agreements for a number of European air handling and compressor manufacturers and Lee suggests that his company's combination of products, expertise and application knowledge will bring value to plant applications.
Product ranges on the list to date are: EKOM (air and vacuum systems including medical compressors); HIBLOW (linear pump technology for environmental, medical and OEM applications); and CINEL (nitrogen, hydrogen, oxygen and zero-air generators for laboratories).
Absolute Air & Gas will also be selling its own Absolute AG range of silent, oil-lubricated compressors.
