Pump distributor AxFlow has acquired Thames Valley Pumps, of Windsor, which now changes its name to AxFlow Windsor.
 AxFlow managing director Tony Peters says that TVP will continue providing pump sales, service, repair and maintenance under the existing management team of Frank Moszkal and Bob Jervis.
"Thames Valley Pumps is a successful business that mirrors our pump maintenance and repair operations in Huddersfield and Aberdeen," comments Peters.
"The skilled engineering resources built up by TVP over 13 years will enable AxFlow to further develop its service support facilities to customers throughout the South and open up new opportunities for the Windsor operation," he continues.
"It makes great business sense to bring the two companies together," he adds, "because it means that AxFlow will have the engineering skillset to repair almost any type of pump both at the Windsor base and at customers' premises."
AxFlow is part of the international Axel Johnson Group, with an annual turnover approaching £2 billion and 17,000 employees.
