Emerson has announces the first Global Users Exchange in Europe – a three-day event from 29—31 May 2012 in Düsseldorf, Germany, aimed at plant engineers and managers.

Based on the format at this month's (October 2011) Global Users Exchange in Nashville, USA, the event will include workshops, presentations, industry forums, short courses, technology exhibits and product roadmaps.

"The Emerson Global Users Exchange is much more than an industry-leading technical conference," insists Bob Sharp, president of Emerson Process Management Europe.

"It is a community of manufacturing leaders committed to extracting the most from their automation investment and sharing their learning with each other."

Sharp states that the event also provides an opportunity for delegates to understand what their peers, other suppliers and customers in the industry are doing.

The Exchange organisation is currently looking for users who are happy to run presentations, workshops or short courses at the event.
