Emerson Process Management's 'Quick Ship' programme has now been extended to cover selected Fisher valves, assemblies and parts – offering a lead time of less than three days.
 According to Fisher Europe Quick Ship programme director Hans Nieuwpoort, the goal is making critical products and spares available as quickly as possible, to minimise down time.
The programme was initially launched to cover Rosemount process temperature and pressure transmitters, and subsequently extended to include Rosemount and Micro Motion flow products, before this month's additions.
Quick Ship is available on Fisher sliding stem valves up to 6in, rotary valves up to 10in and butterfly valves up to 12in, with a dedicated workshop and team in Székesfehérvár, Hungary, processing orders to agreed delivery times, explains Nieuwpoort.
He also points to Emerson's new Installed Base Tool, which offers major customers on-line access to their installed valves, based on tag and serial numbers, enabling them to select parts more easily and providing 24/7 on-line ordering.
"The start-up of the Fisher Europe Quick Ship programme has already helped many customers get replacement products and parts on site quickly," states Nieuwpoort.
"This programme means that more of our customers have speedy access to critical replacements – minimising plant downtime and lost revenue," he adds.
