Fluke sponsors 2011 London WorldSkills Leaders Forum

Test and measurement instruments giant Fluke is sponsoring the WorldSkills Leaders Forum on Thursday 6 October, held alongside WorldSkills London 2011, the world's largest skills competition, at ExCeL London from 5—8 October.

Fluke sponsors 2011 London WorldSkills Leaders ForumFluke is a global industry partner of WorldSkills International and is providing many of the competitors' test tools. Visitors will also be able to try the tools for themselves on the Fluke stand at the event.

The WorldSkills Leaders Forum is an annual global event that brings together international business and governments, making a difference in skills development and promotion.

Following presentations from leaders in business and commerce from around the world, participants will be able to explore the benefits of investing in skills, the role skills will play in the global economic recovery and the importance of striving for excellence as a way of motivating young people.

WorldSkills London 2011 is set to be the world's largest international skills competition, with young people from across the globe competing to be the 'best of the best' in their chosen skills.

Around 150,000 visitors are expected and they will see 1,000 competitors from more than 50 countries and regions competing in 46 skill areas over four days of competition.

More than 100 colleges from across the UK will also be showcasing their skills and talents at the event, and experts will also be on hand to share their knowledge and offer careers advice.
