Metering pumps adapted for ATEX areas
July 2011 Email to a friend   Comment on this article
SPX is now supplying its Bran + Luebbe brand metering pumps with a fully automated stroke length adjustment device, for operation in ATEX and flameproof areas.

Metering pumps adapted for ATEX areasThe development sees actuators extending the traditional Bran + Luebbe pump stroke length adjustment systems, meaning that a control signal can be taken directly by the pump, an intervening interface.

SPX says that the actuator, which is supplied as standard for all ATEX certified Bran + Luebbe pump types, accepts standard signals, provides feedback control and operate safely in ATEX areas.

The device is also available for retrofitting to all installed Bran + Luebbe pump units.
