Equipment rental firm Speedy has upgraded its fleet of surveying instruments, with an investment of more than £1.8 million in Leica Geosystems products.
The investment includes a further 200 FlexLine TS06 5 Power Total Stations, growing its inventory of this work horse surveying instrument alone to 450 units.
Andy Connor, supply chain director at Speedy says Speedy has also bought "a significant quantity" of Robotic One Person Total Stations, as well as GNSS SmartRovers operated by the Leica Viva software.
"The extension of our range of Leica Geosystems products ensures that Speedy customers always have access to the one of the largest and most sophisticated collections of surveying equipment on the market," states Connor.
"This significant investment by Speedy underlines their commitment to have one of the newest, largest and most versatile hire fleets of survey equipment in the UK," adds Ian Pennington, national key account manager at Leica Geosystems.
