Class O compressed air without oil free compressor
May 2011 Email to a friend   Comment on this article
S 40-2 Bluekat is an oil-lubricated screw compressor, from Boge, with a built in converter claimed to produce absolutely oil free air for small to medium compressed air users – without the cost of an expensive oil free compressor.

Class O compressed air without oil free compressorBoge's new system removes residual oil aerosols contained in the compressed air and breaks the hydrocarbon chains into carbon dioxide and water.

Residual compressed air meets the quality requirements of ISO 8573-1 Class 1 but, more importantly, the unit has been tested and certified to meet Class 0.

Bluekat is available for 8, 10 and 13 bar with capacities from 3.71—5.01 m3/min and motor power 30kW.
