Durapipe UK has scooped a good design award for its innovative Easyfit valve, launched last year.
 Competing against a record number of entries from around the globe, the valve has received international recognition, propelling it onto a world-class stage.
Easyfit impressed judges with its creative design, which allows customers to label the valve, as well as enabling it to be installed in confined spaces, potentially increasing plant efficiency as pipelines are easily identifiable.
Durapipe marketing manager Mitchell Holmes says: "We are exceptionally proud to have received an international accolade for our Easyfit valve. Its ground-breaking technology, coupled with its simplicity, offers practicalities to companies that are unrivalled, and this Good Design award recognises this on a global level."
The valve is available in sizes up to 63mm and is manufactured in PVC and PVC-C materials for industrial applications including chemical, water treatment and processing plants.
