High performance piston pump
March 2011 Email to a friend   Comment on this article
A robust, heavy duty, variable displacement 360 cc/rev hydraulic piston pump has been added to Parker Hannifin's range.

High performance piston pumpDubbed PV 360, its permanent operating pressures is up to 5,000 psi (350 bar) can be accommodated, with peaks up to 6,000 psi (420bar) allowed.

The unit features a large servo piston for very fast response, and is designed for use with cranes and lifting equipment, presses, metal forming machines, hydraulic power units (HPUs) and heavy lift marine applications.

It is also suitable for applications where hydraulic systems may already be subject to high impact forces, because of its adoption of Parker's proven ripple chamber technology, allowing it to produce up to 60% less pressure and flow pulsation than comparable pumps.
