Making UK Manufacturing Internationally Competitive – Wednesday 7th March 2012

Manufacturing Summit 2012Now in its third year, the Manufacturing Summit continues to shape the debate between industry and government.

Following on from the themes of the last two events, The Future of UK Manufacturing 2010 and Rebuilding UK Manufacturing 2011 , 2012 sees the Manufacturing Summit tackle the important issues surrounding an industry that government is calling on to rescue the economy through wealth creation and export. The next event is Making UK Manufacturing Internationally Competitive.

The Manufacturing Summit continues to provide UK manufacturers with the opportunity to hear from and to question key speakers from industry, government, politics, economics and industry associations – the people who impact the future of the sector. The aim has always been simple: provide manufacturers with a platform to listen coupled with industry case studies and useful workshops take away important practical ideas for their manufacturing businesses.

Created in partnership with Engineering The Future, IET, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, The ERA Foundation and Findlay Media, the Manufacturing Summit brings together leading keynote speakers, a "Question Time" panel and a selection of practical discussion forums which offer a wealth of valuable content for anyone with an investment in UK manufacturing.
