Self-priming magnetic drive pump range extended
January 2011 Email to a friend   Comment on this article
Two more models have been added to the Finish Thompson SP series of magnetic drive, self-priming centrifugal pumps.

Self priming magnetic drive pump range extendedSP10 and SP22 provide maximum flow rates of 12m3/hr and 45m3/hr respectively and maximum discharge heads of 13 and 37 metres.

SP pumps combine deep lift capabilities (up to 7.6 metres) and fast priming (5.5 metres in 90 seconds) with the advantages of magnetic drive technology, such as no seals to replace, no leaks and the ability to run-dry without damage.

They are also good for fluids with specific gravities up to 1.8, such as sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid and sodium and potassium hydroxide.

And they are reliable, low-maintenance and safe, thanks to the magnetic drive, while the choice of polypropylene or PVDF bodies makes them tough, durable and corrosion resistant.
