January 2011 Email to a friend   Comment on this article
Paracube Micro, the oxygen sensor from Hummingbird, is said to deliver substantial cost and maintenance savings in fixed point oxygen monitoring systems.

Lower cost path to fixed point oxygen monitoringBased on paramagnetic sensing technology, it uses no consumables and eliminates costs associated with electrochemical, galvanic and fuel cell devices – as well as problems of cell degradation and frequent calibration.

It's also designed to fail safe and incorporates continuous self diagnostics, and sports a choice of analogue or digital signal output.
