Improved accuracy and versatility are the claims for Jofra's RTC-158 and RTC-250 dry-block reference temperature calibrators, from Ametek.
Both calibrators combine a liquid bath and a large diameter insert and are designed to calibrate odd sizes and shaped sensors or multiple sensors at once.
RTC-158, which replaces the earlier ATC-140, covers a temperature range of -22 to 155C, while RTC-250, which replaces the ATC-250, covers a higher temperature range of 28 to 250C.
Both have Ametek's patent-pending dynamic load compensation (DLC) system that provides temperature uniformity in the insert no matter the number or size of the sensors immersed.
They also feature so-called intelligent sensors for 'plug and play' connectivity, as well as a 5.7in colour VGA display and a USB for communications and downloads.
