3M says plant managers can stock up on respiratory protection and save money with its 'buy one, get one free' offer, which applies to the 7500 series reusable half mask respirators.
 These have soft, silicone seal for comfort and exhalation valves to prevent heat build-up, with a range of filters to protect against various gas and particulate hazards.
The offer is for a limited and 3M is also providing added value services with 3M Service Life Software (SLS), which helps users to identify when to change the cartridge filter.
3M explains that filter lifetime is variable dependent on environmental conditions and individual exposure to gases and vapour, so SLS ensures optimal protection to wearers by estimating how long filters will last.
