An articulated forklift truck designed to handle heavy loads in very narrow aisle storage schemes has been introduced by Flexi Narrow Aisle.
 The new model comes with a choice of 1,250mm and 1,350mm chassis widths and, thanks to its heavy duty vision tilting lift-mast, can lift loads of 2.5 tonnes to heights of 9.5 metres.
This is an electric-powered forklift, incorporating modern ac technology, which, according to Flexi, means optimum battery efficiency, maximum time between recharges and minimal maintenance.
Maximum 'over rotation' and smooth digital encoder steering are among other features combining to ensure that one turn is all that is required to enter or de-stack a pallet.
And for plant managers concerned with flexibility, this forklift can also be used like a counterbalanced machine – both inside and outside.
