Facelift Access Hire helped to put the lights up on the giant Christmas tree at the National Trust's Wakehurst Place again this year.

Mobile plant helps Wakehurst Place light up UKs biggest Christmas treeThe West Sussex property, which is managed by Kew Gardens and hosts several Christmas events throughout the season, boasts the largest Christmas tree in the UK.

Work started at eight o'clock in the morning, with the arrival of two Bronto's, a Bronto 46 and the Bronto 61xdt. Following careful positioning of the plant, the lights were raised to the top of the tree ready for attachment by ground staff.

As the team is now so familiar with the operation, work was completed ahead of schedule, allowing plenty of time for visiting journalists to record the event and the view from the top.
