Explosion-proof luminaries now in LED

Cooper Crouse-Hinds has extended its dKLK 23 and dKLK 23 CG-S range of Ex signal and escape sign luminaries, with LED versions.

Explosion proof luminaries now in LEDThis LED option is certified for use in Zones 1 and 21 in accordance with ATEX and IECEx.

They are also suitable for a range of hazardous gas (Ex Zone 1, II 2 G) and dust (Ex Zone 21, II 2 D) environments, including intermittent operation as flashing lights.

And tbey are certified for temperature class T6. When used with a white Phillips Master LED 7W lamp with integrated driver, the unit has a luminous flux rating of 230lm, which is equivalent to a 25W incandescent lamp.

Benefits include energy savings, long service life, as well as cost savings. The lamps are also environmentally friendly, as they contain no mercury.
