Eriks to acquire US Rawson for process instrumentation

Plant equipment and instrumentation specialist Eriks is to acquire the US-based flow control equipment firm Rawson LP.

Eriks to acquire US Rawson for process instrumentationThe company, which distributes process control instrumentation, valves and accessories, as well as field instruments, in the Gulf Coast, serves the refining, chemical, oil and gas, power generation, pulp and paper, food processing, pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries.

Eriks sees the acquisition as a stepping stone to further growth in the North American process technology markets. Rawson also strengthens ERIKS' position as a global industrial service provider.
