Vibration sensing instruments get wider range
August 2010 Email to a friend   Comment on this article
Six ranges of general purpose vibration sensors have been launched by Monitran – all with top- or side-entry, plus integral cables or connectors.

Vibration sensing instruments get wider rangeThe 2200 operates between ±80g, has a rapid response to shock loading and withstands 10,000g. They have isolated ac outputs with sensitivities of 100mV/g.

2300 is similar but with dual outputs; 2285 is for RMS or peak velocity; 2287 is as per the 2285 but with the dc output providing acceleration; and the 2385 and 2387 add secondary outputs for temperature to the 2285 and 2287 respectively.

Submersible and intrinsically safe versions are also available.
