Durapipe UK is now selling PVC-U pipework that conforms to AMP5 for water treatment plants, with dual containment.
 It's aimed at water authorities wanting additional protection for pipework that passes near gantries or above public areas, where the risk of contamination can't be tolerated.
It incorporates a patented Centralok system that provides a solid fixed fitting, which makes the system easy to install, because its inner pipe is constrained – unlike others, where it moves freely.
There are also half the number of joins in the system, reducing the number of potential leak paths.
