A range of vacuum pumps that enables full process integration is new from Edwards.
 Its GXS range is compact, uses dry screw technology and has been designed for service life up to five years, virtually maintenance free – even in harsh applications.
The pump mechanism can be cleaned easily using a high flow purge and solvent flush accessory, which eliminates the need to partially strip the pump.
It also handles dust well and is quiet: the pump's shafts are supported at both ends for increased rigidity, and hence the reduced vibration. Ultimate vacuum is 1x10-3mbar.
