Plant nappy saves spills

The unfortunately named Plant Nappy is now available from Fentex, providing spill containment and environmental protection in terms of ground water regulations.

Plant nappy saves spillsFentex describes the product as ideal for external applications, where rainwater is allows to pass freely out through the retaining walls while pollutants remain trapped.

The units are lightweight and transportable, and designed for small plant equipment where the escape of fuels, lubricating oil or pumped liquids could lead to land or water course contamination.

Fentex says they provide a simple, cost effective solution to good environmental practice, while helping to prevent prosecutions or fines resulting from harmful pollution.

Plant Nappy can be supplied in large (1370 x 2000mm), medium (685 x 1000mm) and small (500 x 685mm) sizes, offering spillage retention capacities of 16, 4.5 and 2 litres respectfully.
