3M's magnetically driven, sealless pumps have been extended with models including one that is a peripheral multistage metallic unit.

Sealless mag pumps take on tough problemsDubbed the CT MAG-MS, it is available from liquids handling specialists Pump Engineering, with six options providing for flows up to 24mc/h at heads to 1,000 metres.

If your problem is aggressive, hard-to-handle fluids, these may provide a solution. Mag-drive pumps are renowned for their long-life, reliable performance and low-maintenance. Also, as a result of having no seals, leaks and emissions are eliminated.

CT MAG-MS pumps are suited to applications involving liquids with viscosities up to 200cSt, system pressures to 50 bar (or optionally150 bar or higher), and operating temperature range of -120°C to +350°C. Electric motors are available from 0.55kW to 75kW.
