Advanced engine oil is a gas
January 2010 Email to a friend   Comment on this article
Mobil SHC Pegasus is a new category of advanced technology oils, designed for natural gas engines.

ExxonMobil claims average energy savings of up to 1.5%, resulting in an equivalent reduction of CO2 emissions – as well as reduced fuel consumption, increased oil drain intervals (12,000 hours), and "exceptional" engine cleanliness and component protection.

"In an industry where energy costs represent a significant percentage of operating cost, emissions regulations are becoming more stringent, and engine reliability is critical to productivity," comments Michael Hawkins, ExxonMobil's Mobil SHC brand manager.
